Dart-style plane with a little cockpit
This is a variation on the basic dart which results in a cockpit-like addition. Watch and pause the video while you follow along with the steps.
Step 1:
Fold the paper in half lengthwise.
Step 2:
Take the top-left and right corners and fold them over the middle so the top of the fold is at the center, and the bottom of the fold ends near the bottom of the paper. Be sure that the folds are symmetrical!
Step 3:
Take the tips of the flaps you just created and fold them over so they do not overlap the center fold. (Approx. 50 seconds into the video)
Step 4:
Start folding the new small flaps in toward the center repeatedly until you reach the desired size of your cockpit, then fold one flap over the other to create a single piece.

Now fold down your wings length-wise so that the cockpit just stick up in the middle when the plane is held and you
