Butterfly Glider
This is a good glider I created. Its pretty simple to make, and doesnt require any scissors or tape.


Step 1:

First, fold the paper in half length-wise.

Step 2:

Unfold the paper and grab the top corner, fold it over at an angle all the way to the other side of the paper. Do the same with the other corner so you end up with something like the picture in step 3.

Step 3:

Take the sides of the triangles and squeeze them in towards each other.

Step 4:

The top starts to fold down. Press it the rest of the way down and crease it.

Step 5:

Once the top is creased it will tend to spring up a little, this is okay.

Step 6:

Take the flap tip at the right and fold it up toward the tip of the plane and crease it. Do the same for the left flap.

Step 7:

This is how it should look after step 6.

Step 8:

Now fold the paper in half again length-wise.

Step 9:

Fold down the wings about an inch or so from the center fold.

Step 10:

Fold about one centimeter of the wing tip downwards so they point at the ground.

Step 11:

Thats it! Let it fly with a gentle toss and it will sail nicely.
